Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

On Thursday, November 21, Lt. Bastardo spoke with a woman in regards to being scammed in the total amount of $23,285.  This was in the form of cashier’s checks and eBay gift cards.  Two people are listed as suspects.  The location was County Road 439.

On November 22, Deputy Mathis responded to County Road 340.  This was for a verbal domestic disturbance.  Deputies interviewed parties involved.  A woman was placed in custody for Terroristic Threat towards her husband.

On Saturday, November 23, at 09:55 hours, Deputy Bastardo conducted a follow investigation.  This was in regards to a criminal mischief call from November 22.  He spoke to a man who said an unknown person had attempted to gain entrance to his residence, damaging his property.  A report was taken.

On November 24, at approximately 00:43, Deputy Rodriguez was dispatched to FM 2492 in regards to harassment.  A report was generated.

On November 24, at about 20:53 hours, while on uniformed patrol in a marked Brown County Patrol unit, Deputy Davis and Corporal Hopson responded to Gantt Street in Bangs.  This was in an attempt to serve a Felony warrant.  An arrest was made for Hindering Apprehension.
