Brownwood News – Three people were killed in a two vehicle accident which happened at 5:03 pm Tuesday, June 2, on State Highway 6, three miles south of Gorman in Comanche County.

According to the preliminary report from the Department of Public Safety, a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling East on Highway 6 while a 2011 BMW 328i was traveling West.  The driver of the Cruze crossed into the westbound lane.  The driver of the BMW crossed into the eastbound lane to avoid a collision.  The Cruze then returned to the eastbound lane crashing into the BMW.

Killed were three passengers in the BMW.  They are Everardo Palacios, 19, of Conroe; Bertha Gloria Muniz, 20, of Hico; Eric Arthur Jason Martinez, 21, of Hico.

The driver of the BMW was Selena Hernandez, 20, of Hico.  She was transported to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene with serious/incapacitating injury.

The driver of the Chevy Cruze was Colby Wade Stange, 20, of Orange.  He was transported to Comanche County Medical Center with stable/incapacitating injury.

The crash remains under investigation.
