Brownwood News – A 51 year-old woman was in Brown County Jail on Friday charged with Assault on a Public Servant and Disorderly Conduct.
According to a news release from Early Police Chief, David Mercer, at approximately 12:30 am Friday morning, Early Police, Brown County Sheriff’s Office and DPS officers, along with Fire and EMS, responded to the 1500 block of Early Boulevard to a domestic disturbance where an individual claimed they were injured.
Once on scene officers located a female acting out of control and causing a disturbance. The female also claimed to be injured but, when Fire and EMS personnel attempted to check her, she became assaultive and began kicking personnel. The female also kicked and assaulted several officers while they attempted to restrain her, the report states.
The female was then restrained and taken into custody. Emily Louise Clower was taken to the Brown County Jail and charged with the offenses of Assault on a Public Servant and Disorderly Conduct. She was still listed as being in jail early Friday afternoon. No bond amount was shown on jail records.
