DonnaBurlesonVOMJune2014BRMC volunteer Donna Burleson was honored as the June 2014 Volunteer of the Month during the July 2014 Executive Board Meeting of the Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers. She has been a volunteer for over 6 years having joined the organization in May 2008.

Donna served as the BRMC Volunteers Recording Secretary from 2009 – 2012. She is a familiar face in the Junior BRMC Volunteers, Intensive Care Waiting, Information Desk, and Tray Favor Volunteer Service Areas at BRMC.  Donna currently serves as the chairperson for the Junior BRMC Volunteers and Information Desk Volunteer Service Areas.  She has over 2,100 hours of volunteer service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

The Volunteer of the Month Award is awarded by the BRMC volunteers each month during the year.  Recipients of the award receive recognition and lunch at the executive board meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected.  Each BRMC Volunteer of the Month recipient is recognized with a framed Volunteer of the Month Certificate, a ‘Volunteers, Brighten Our Day!’ pin, and a ‘BRMC Volunteer of the Month’ service bar.
