Graveside services for Shirley Neville Weathermon will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013, in the Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Heartland Funeral Home in Early.
She passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at a local nursing home.
She was born November 7, 1937, in Brownwood, Texas, to Mack and Jessie Lee Neville. She was married to Billy Ray Weathermon in 1956. Shirley worked as a manager of several area convenience stores. She enjoyed reading mystery books in her spare time. She leaves behind her family that will miss her very much.
Cherishing her memory is daughter-in-law, Carrol Weathermon of Brownwood; and three sons, Doak and wife Carolyn of Brownwood, Ryan and wife Cindy of Brownwood, and Rodney of Avinger. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Alicia and husband Leslie Denson of Early, Barbara Cockerell of San Angelo, Kisty and husband Kevin Fairchild of Little Elm, Laura Trejo and Michael Weathermon of San Antonio, Ashley Pollak and Niki Williamson of Diana. Robert and wife Alicia Referda of Wabash, In., and Vicki Fulford of Gatesville. Great-grandchildren include James Holland, Kassidy Holland, Bryce Denson, Mason Weathermon, Hailey Weathermon, Charles Trejo Jr., Cody Riojas, and Colby and Casey Fairchild, Isabella and Jack Referda, Robert, David, and Matthew Jackson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray; and son, Jack Weathermon.
Heartland Funeral Home of Early is in charge of arrangements.
