Memorial services for Samuel Clark Coursey will be Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Heartland Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at Heartland Funeral Home Early, Texas.
He passed away at his home Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
Sam was born October 3, 1947 in Brownwood, Texas to Clark and Melba Fisher Coursey. He was a lifetime resident of Brownwood. Sam was a member and president of the Brownwood J. C. “s. He loved to keep abreast of local and national politics. He graduated from Brownwood High School where he played in the band. After graduation he attended Howard Payne University. He was the owner of Banner Printing Company in Brownwood.Sam is survived by his son; Matthew Coursey of Round Rock, Texas, his daughter Lauren Coursey of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by one brother Pat and his wife Nelle Coursey of Brownwood, one nephew Gary Cousey and a niece Alicia Fall.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clark and Melba Coursey.
