The Brownwood Reunion Celebration’s Classic Car Show was attended by thousands once again according to organizers.  The show featured about 50 classic vehicles; all from the 1960’s to keep with the overall Reunion theme.

Local car club, the Heartland Cruisers, put the show together each year, all without charging admission fees to attendees or contestants.

This year, organizers gave away five awards including Best of Show, three Outstanding Entries, and Club Choice on Sunday.  The first four awards were determined by votes from the more than 6000 attendees who visited the show over the weekend.

The Best of Show award went to Jeff Greer from Brownwood for his red Camaro convertible.

Outstanding entries were Andy White from Abilene for his 1969 yellow Camaro, Don Furry from Bastrop for his 1965 Chevy Impala, and Frank Bernal for his red Corvette.

Robert Fain from Abilene was selected Club Choice for his 1963 Pontiac Catalina.
