The Classic Car Show featured in the Brownwood Coliseum during the Brownwood Reunion Celebration gets bigger and better each year, and 2011 is no exception.
Close to 50 cars, all from the 1960’s, are featured in this year’s event. Local car club the Heartland Cruisers organizes the show each year during the Reunion, and they make a big effort to bring variety of unique cars to the show each year. Those who attend the show will be able to vote for their favorite entry which will be recognized Sunday, September 18 during an awards presentation.
Last year, the Classic Car Show was attended by more than 7000 people, and organizers for the event hope to surpass that number in 2011. They are also selling chances to win a fire chief peddle car which will be given away on Sunday as well. Admission to the show is free.
The Classic Car Show was open all three days of the Reunion, September 16-18. Go to CelebrateBrownwood.com for more information.
