Monday, September 14

*12:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 13th Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was struck by an unknown suspect, causing significant damage.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*2:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Austin Avenue, a local church, regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown suspect shot several windows with what appeared to be a BB gun.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:33 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Parsons Avenue in May regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person stole his safe from his room.

*7:17 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a convenience store on N. Hwy 279 in reference to an unwanted person.   According to the report, the deputy met the complainant there who stated she had been in an argument with a known male and that she wanted him off the property.

Tuesday, September 15

*8:26 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was contacted by a complainant who stated that she was instructed by her contractor to file a police report on a missing refrigerator and range from a foreclosed property.

*9:04 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, a female subject stole six bottles of wine, valued at $71.94, from the convenience store.

*9:10AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 1200 block of High Mesa Drive regarding found property.  According to the report, the complainant stated that there were two extra horses on his property that he did not own or know who they belonged to.

*9:57 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on 1st Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, a female reported that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend at her residence.

*7:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 4th Street regarding an animal bite.  According to the report, the owner of two pit bulls was located and issued a citation for allowing her dogs to run at large.

*7:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding harassment.  According to the report, the suspect is known.

*9:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Custer Road, where a vehicle had gone off the roadway.  After an investigation, 24-year-old Misty Dawn Tafelmeyer of Brownwood was arrested for the offense of driving while intoxicated with previous conviction.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Jacky Wayne Carter of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old David Blake Havens of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/assault family violence occlusion and failure to appear/delivery of a controlled substance.

*Bangs Police arrested 49-year-old Phillip Lloyd Lemmons of Brownwood on a Callahan County warrant related to theft.

Wednesday, September 16

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Keith James Aubel of Bronwwood on a warrant related to resisting arrest, search or transport.
