Friday, August 26
*5:56 AM – A Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of 7th Street regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, bottles of laundry detergent and a window air conditioning unit were stolen during the burglary.
*8:30 AM – Brownwood Police was called to the 1300 block of 17th Street regarding a report of fraud.
*12:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Commerce regarding fraud. According to the report, two male subjects each took $100 from a cashier.
*1:52 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of theft. According to the report, the complainant believed a known male subject had stolen a pair of his headphones.
*2:40 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue which led to the issuance of a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia to an occupant of the vehicle.
*8:43 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address County Road 619 near Early regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend’s brother over some ice.*10:55 PM – Brownwood Police responded to an accident in the area of Idlewild and Vine Street. According to the report, a witness stated that a Ford Explorer was driving erratically and then struck a Dodge pickup which was legally parked on the street. This call led to the arrest of 31-year-old Bradley Alan Deschane of Blanket for suspicion of driving while intoxicated/open alcoholic container and driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Ashley Nicole Alldredge of Brownwood on a warrant related to a probation violation/engaging in organized criminal activity. Alldredge was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bond as of Monday morning.
*31-year-old Alex Arrellano, Jr. of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to motion to revoke/burglary of a habitation.
*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Richard Bryant of Brownwood on a warrant related to the sexual assault of a child. Bryant was later released on $20,000 bond.
*35-year-old Richard Leon Hatchcock, Jr. of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 32-year-old Gaylon Henry of Lubbock, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Betti Leeann Hounshell of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property greater than $50 less than $500.
Saturday, August 27
*4:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street regarding the theft of a cell phone.
*6:47 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence in Blanket, Texas regarding theft of a Porter Cable pancake air-compressor, valued at approximately $180.00. No suspect information was available at the time the report.
*7:21 PM – Early Police responded to the 200 block of Live Oak regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a female had been pushed by the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Keith Allan Philippi of Brownwood. The officer’s report states that a female, identified as 40-year-old Angela Gale Pederson of Early, and Philippi made threats to “whoever called the police,” and that Pederson had assaulted the victim with a knife. The officer also stated that Pederson stated that Philippi was in New Mexico to keep officers from finding him inside a travel trailer where he was hiding, the report states. As a result of this call, 29-year-old Keith Alan Philippi was arrested and charged with Class C assault and on a warrant related to failure to appear/unlawful carry weapon, and Angela Pederson was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and hinder apprehension. Keith Philippi was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $5,500 bond and Angela Pederson was being held on bonds totaling $22,500 as of Monday morning.
*11:02 PM – A Brownwood Police officer was patrolling in the 1800 block of Coggin Avenue when she observed a vehicle which was speeding. A traffic stop was conducted which led to the issuance of three citations to a minor, including driving under the influence. All occupants of the vehicle were released to sober guardians.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a home on County Road 564 regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the property owner stated that the front door had been kicked in and a gun safe with weapons and two guitars were stolen. There were no known suspects at the time of the report.
*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Jamith Burt Fraser of Brownwood on warrants related to expired registration and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Jimmy Lee Hallum of Early on a warrant related to motion to revoke/criminal mischief equal greater than $50 less than $500.
*25-year-old Michael Henry of Ballinger, Texas turned himself in on warrants related to two counts of injury to a child with intent bodily injury. Henry was later released on bonds totaling $20,000.
Sunday, August 28
*4:01 AM – A Brownwood Police was on patrol in the 2500 block of Southside Drive when he observed a woman walking and looking into windows of parked cars with a flashlight. According to the report, the officer attempted to make contact with the female and a foot pursuit followed. Officers were unable to locate where the female fled.
*4:36 AM – Brownwood Police responded to a hit and run accident. According to the report, a white passenger car lost control and struck a chain link fence and a utility pole. An investigation is ongoing, the report states. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*10:35 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was patrolling County Road 192 when he observed a mailbox which appeared to have been purposely damaged. According to the report, the deputy made contact with the owner who advised the mailbox was damaged at an unknown time the previous night. He estimated the loss to be $25 and would like to press charges, the deputy states.
*3:44 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Avenue G. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of Rodney Burns for warrants related to assault family violence – occlusion and driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
*3:47 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Austin Avenue regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, 18-year-old Chesney Raelene Andrews of Brownwood was arrested for refusing to leave a local restaurant.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of the theft of a mailbox at a property located on County Road 193 in Bangs, Texas. According to the report, the offense is believed to have occurred between 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 27th and 7:00 AM this date.
*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Oscar Alvarez of Brownwood for resisting arrest, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
*Brownwood Police arrested 57-year-old Rodney Tony Burns of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction and a warrant related to assault family/house member impede breath/circulation. Burns was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Norma Linda Correa of Brownwood for resisting arrest a public intoxication, assault by contact family violence and disorderly conduct-language.
*Brownwood Police arrested 45-year-old Carrie Aleese Gardner of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property less than $2,500 enhanced.
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Joseph Alen Havens of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Joshua Lee Maldonado of Brownwood on a warrant related to the forgery of a financial instrument.
*48-year-old Anna Strathy McClain of Lake Brownwood, Texas turned herself in on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance. Strathy was later released on $60,000 bond.
