Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, June 7, 2016
Monday, June 6
*2:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the female complainant reported that a known female suspect had cursed at her in the parking lot of the business and she wished to pursue criminal charges against the suspect for disorderly conduct (abusive/profane language).
*4:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Fisk Avenue regarding forgery of a financial information. According to the report, three checks had been forged. There were no arrests made at the time of the report; however, an investigation is ongoing.
*8:46 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Monterey Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the burglary had occurred over the weekend of June 3-5, when an unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole a purse with identifying information and miscellaneous paperwork.
*11:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Baker Street for an accident. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 36-year-old Thomas Lance Schulze of Early for driving while intoxicated.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy spoke, by telephone, to a complainant regarding a stolen shotgun. According to the report, the complainant stated that a shotgun (valued at $149) was stolen from his house while he was out of town. There was no forced entry and multiple people knew where the key was hidden, according to the complainant.*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a Lake Brownwood regarding the theft of two batteries off of a finishing boat. According to the report, the victim reported that sometime within the last month someone took two marine batteries off of his bass boat. There were no possible suspects identified at the time of the report.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Joe Ramon Hernandez of Buffalo Gap, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/failure to identify.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Kyle Lee Pena of Brady, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft of service. Pena was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Tuesday morning.
