Wednesday, June 4

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a phone call regarding the sale of a vehicle involved in an ongoing civil dispute.  According to the report, the victim reported selling the vehicle to a subject who failed to make payments as agreed and subsequently resold the vehicle.

Monday, June 9

*6:35 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her husband had loaned a heavy duty drill to a subject who had allegedly sold the drill without the owner’s consent.

Wednesday, June 11

*8:26 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s investigator and deputy executed a warrant service at an address on 2nd Street in Brownwood.  According to the report, the homeowner allowed the officers in the residence where they located Rodney Shane Howard asleep on the couch in the living room.  Howard was identified and arrested for the active warrants related to four counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and failure to identify.  During a search incident to the arrest, the deputy located 3 plastic zip style baggies which contained trace amounts of a crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, the report states.  An additional charge of possession of a controlled substance was filed on Howard.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 24-year-old Breanne Nicholle Jones of Brownwood on warrant related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear, and no driver’s license.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Quaylen James Lykes of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to appear, and no driver’s license.

*Bangs Police arrested 52-year-old Wanda Rutherford Mindieta of Bangs for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brownwood Police arrested 49-year-old Rickie Osburn of Stephenville for driving while intoxicated.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 44-year-old Jose Marcos Pena of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated/open alcoholic container and driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension.

*Early Police arrested 58-year-old Jamie Charles Sallee on warrants for failure to appear/theft by check and a Comanche County warrant related to a surety withdrawal related to theft by check.

Thursday, June 12

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Derrick Rinella of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension.
