Thursday, April 23

*6:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the investigation is ongoing and surveillance video was requested from Home Depot.

Monday, April 29

*9:27 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault.

Tuesday, April 30

*11:11 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of 15th Street regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject entered the storage building without the consent of the owner between the hours of 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM on April 29th.  Numerous items were stolen, the report states.

*12:21 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an alleged sexual assault of a child.   An investigation is ongoing.

*12:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Austin Avenue regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-husband continues to send her harassing texts after she had asked him to stop.

*3:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of Main Street regarding the theft of property.  According to the report, the complainant stated that items were stolen from her vehicle while it was being washed at a local detailing shop.

*6:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of 4th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was away from his residence for approximately 10 minutes, an unknown subject(s) forced their way into the residence and stole his prescription medication.  The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Giles Trade Lot on Hwy 84/67.  According to the report, a salesman at the car lot stated that a woman had bought a car from Giles in 2009; however, she had since moved from the Brownwood area with the vehicle and is now several months behind on her payments.  The salesman stated that he received an anonymous message on his answering machine telling him that the woman had sold the vehicle to a scrap yard in the Dallas area and used the money toward the purchase of another vehicle, the report states.  The salesman was unable to make contact with the woman or the anonymous caller, according to the report.

*18-year-old Savannah Desirae Babb of Conroe was arrested by TJJD officers on warrants for two counts of assault on a public servant.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Alan Leroy Everett on a warrant related to fail to stop and render aid.

*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Christian Lang on a warrant related to consumption of alcohol by minor.

*17-year-old Shantrell M. McQueen of Lufkin was arrested by TDDJ officers for assault on a public servant.

*The Brownwood City Marshall arrested 20-year-old Christopher Allan Minor on warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Lucilla Ortega for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*17-year-old Selena Santellano of Harlingen was arrested by TDDJ officers on a warrant for assault on a public servant.
