Sunday, March 30

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence located on Sportsman Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation which had already occurred.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his deceased father’s home had been burglarized and several items were taken from the home and yard area.  The incident is under investigation, the report states.

Monday, March 31

*11:17 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the issuance of a criminal trespass warning.

*12:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Greenway Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation which had just occurred.

*11:02 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Stephen F. Austin Avenue.  According to the report, it was learned that the driver had a suspended Texas driver’s license.  After an investigation, the driver identified as 28-year-old Thomas Gaffga of Brownwood was arrested and charged with driving while license invalid enhanced.

*11:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of W. Baker Street regarding an intoxicated person.  According to the report, the officer located the subject in the middle of the roadway asleep.  He was woken up and given the option to find someone that would take care of him; however was unable to find anyone and he was arrested for public intoxication.  The male subject, identified as 41-year-old Demetricus Allen Fisher of Brownwood, was found to be in possession of a crystal like substance which tested positive as methamphetamine, the report states.  He was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, according to the report.

*11:44 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of a runaway juvenile.  According to the report, the mother reported that her 16-year-old son ran away from home because he wanted to go stay with his girlfriend.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle via telephone.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her son would not return the vehicle she had earlier allowed him to use.  In addition, the complainant reported the abuse of a debit card she had allowed him to use, and a camera and two tools that had been stolen from her home, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Rosanna Marie Banda of Abilene on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Adam Raymond Castillo of Brownwood regarding assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Rayla Dawn Rice of Coleman on warrants related to abandon endanger child, failure to maintain financial responsibility, no driver’s license, and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Brittany Dawn Turner of Early on a warrant related to abandon endanger child.
