Friday, February 12

*6:09 AM – Brownwood police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal mischief.

*10:25 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle on N. Highway 279 for a seatbelt violation.  According to the report, during a probable cause search, a portion of a marijuana cigarette was found.  Subsequently, the driver, identified as 26-year-old David Bradley Jenkins of Brownwood was arrested for possession of marijuana.  The passenger and vehicle were released.

*11:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Lee Street regarding criminal mischief.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*3:22 PM – Brownwood police were called to the 2300 block of Avenue B regarding an assault.  According to the report, the assault had occurred the previous day and neither party wished to pursue charges.

*4:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a Brownwood residence regarding a runaway juvenile.  Information was given to the police department in a town where she could possibly be, according to the report.

*10:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Parkway Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated someone had attempted to kick her door in and had broken the door frame.  The complainant was unable to get a look at the subject or their direction of travel, the report states.

*10:24 PM – Brownwood police received a report of an assault which had occurred in the 200 block of E. Commerce at a Brownwood restaurant.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his manager had assaulted him while he was at work.

*10:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Pecan Street regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 29-year-old Chelsea Dorine Cavanaugh of Early for public intoxication and criminal trespass.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a cell phone.  According to the report, the complainant had purchased an iPhone 5S for his employee to use; however, since then, the employment has terminated and the former employee refuses to return the cell phone.  The phone is valued at $449.99, the report states.

*Brownwood police arrested 61-year-old Knowel Beeman, Jr. of Brownwood for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Hallie Shae Crouch of Brownwood on a warrant for motion to adjudicate/assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 55-year-old Cynthia Lorene Flanagan of Brownwood on warrants related to unrestrained animal, too many permitted animals, and driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Virginia Ruth Greene of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, and surety withdrawals related to prohibited substance/item in correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.  Green was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $30,000.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Michael Lynn Massey of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Betty Joe Roe of Early on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.  Roe was later released on $15,000 bond.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 56-year-old James Tindle of Brownwood on a warrant.

Saturday, February 13

*3:45 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Jane Ellen Street in Brownwood.  According to the report, the complainant stated that earlier that morning she and her boyfriend, identified as 35-year-old Mickey Ray Perkins of Brownwood, had gotten into an argument.  Perkins allegedly struck the complainant with a closed fist multiple times around her face causing her to fall onto the floor, the report states.  An investigation led to the arrest of Perkins for assault family violence causing bodily injury and for an outstanding Coleman County warrant related to non-payment of child support.  The complainant was taken by ambulance to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation of her injuries.

*10:54 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Waco Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant’s mail box had been damaged with a blunt object, possibly a baseball bat.  The complainant was able to give a possible description of a suspect’s vehicle and wished to pursue criminal charges.

*11:28 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, a customer consumed a dinner and drink, valued at $17.18, and then left without paying.

*1:32 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal mischief.  According to the report, a metal gate appeared to have been run over by a motor vehicle.  A suspect has been identified and a case report has been written, the report states.

*11:37 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3000 block of Asbury regarding criminal mischief.

*6:09 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Portside Drive regarding a dog bite.   Only minor injuries occurred, according to the report.

*10:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, a male subject was very upset with his wife.  A report of assault family violence was taken, according to police.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Farrah Renee Boykin of Brownwood on a San Saba County warrant related to motion to revoke/assault causes bodily injury.

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 31-year-old Javiel Andres Carbajal of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Early Police arrested 64-year-old Adolfo Chapa of San Angelo for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Ashley Lynn Fulcher of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Kara Lea Houle of Blanket on an Ector County warrant related to failure to appear/theft.

*A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 41-year-old Alex W. Kight of Kingsland, Texas for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.  Kight was later released on $15,000 bond.

Sunday, February 14

*1:45 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 400 block of E. Commerce regarding several traffic violations.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 54-year-old Pamela Ann Wilson of Santa Anna, for driving while intoxicated.

*2:29 AM – Brownwood Police noticed a vehicle with fogged up windows in a parking lot in the 3400 block of US Hwy 377 South.  According to the report, the officer spoke with a clerk at the store who stated the vehicle had been idling in the parking lot for several minutes.  The officer made contact with the driver, identified as 21-year-old Brady Hall of Brownwood, who was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, the report states.

*9:10 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Vine Street.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 39-year-old Drexel M Holt IV of Brownwood, for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.  Hold was later released on $15,000 bond.

*9:17 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue E regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant’s front door was damaged by an unknown suspect.

*1:27 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2700 block of Avenue B.  According to the report, the incident had happened several hours prior to police being called.  The victim showed no injuries; however, both subjects involved reported an incident had occurred, which was documented by police.

*1:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Baker Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, graffiti was located at the location.

*5:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a Brownwood residence regarding a runaway of a juvenile.

*9:04 PM – Brownwood Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of Belle Plain, at a local car wash.  The occupants of the vehicle noticed the patrol vehicle and began acting suspicious and then drove to a nearby convenience store.  The officer made contact with the occupants and consent was given to search the vehicle, which resulted in the arrest of 36-year-old Thomas Roy Holland and 36-year-old Justin Hayden Brown, both of Brownwood, each charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, the report states.

*10:09 PM – Brownwood police were dispatched to the 600 block of Hendricks Street regarding drugs/narcotics.  According to the report, an investigation at the location resulted in the arrest of a male subject, identified as 48-year-old Jose Segovia of Brownwood, on three active warrants.  During a search at the jail, suspected methamphetamine was located in the lining of Segovia’s cap and he was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for failure to signal a turn.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 48-year-old Nicholas Allan Slatton, Jr. of Brownwood, was found to have an invalid license and a previous conviction for driving while license invalid.   Slatton was arrested for driving while license invalid and during an inventory of the vehicle, a clear baggy with a small amount of marijuana was found in the center console with rolling papers next it, the report states.  Slatton was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.

Monday, February 15

*10:10 PM – A Brownwood police officer was dispatched to the 1900 block of Belle Plain Street. in reference to criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant who explained that his property had been damaged.  The damaged property, a convenience store gas pump was valued at $10,000.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 551 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant advised his fence had been cut and named a possible suspect.   The fence is used to keeps goats inside, which enhances this charge to a State Jail Felony. Contact was made with the suspect, who advised he did not cut the fence but that he did try to patch it up with the barb wire.

*Early Police arrested 25-year-old Robert Alan Saenz of San Antonio for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

Tuesday, February 16

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 19-year-old Tyler Hicks of Brownwood on warrants related to theft and failure to appear.

*Early Police arrested 36-year-old Gerald Ray Pflueger III of Killeen for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 49-year-old Elizabeth Roper of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
