Wednesday, December 18

*9:52 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South Broadway regarding simple assault.  According to the report, a suspect was identified.

Friday, December 19

*1:33 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a hit and run accident in the 400 block of Lakeway Drive.  According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had been struck while it was parked in the parking lot of the Salvation Army.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Office met with a complainant who reported the burglary of a storage building near Lake Brownwood.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Hudson Lane regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, there was a custody dispute between relatives which resulted in the mother, who court documents prevented from visiting the children, being issued a trespass warning for the property.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 34-year-old Robert Buttrey of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.

*46-year-old George Ray Darnell, Jr. of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Michael Wilson of Hamilton for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, December 20

*10:34 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to High Mesa regarding loose horses on the roadway.  Mules were located and transported to the BCSO animal pens and strayed as no owner could be located at the time.

*11:35 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft.  The complainant advised that a female subject had stolen merchandise on Friday, December 19th and provided evidence to support the incident, the report states.  The investigation is ongoing, according to police.

*12:05 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of South US Hwy 377 regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she was missing some money and believed a known subject had taken it.  The subject, who was also on scene, denied any knowledge of the money, the report states.

*5:10 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of E. Commerce Street regarding theft greater or equal to $50 less than $500.

*6:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Slayden Street regarding harassment.  According to the report, a resident in the area had been receiving unsolicited sexual messages on her Facebook Messenger.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*10:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a property on County Road 127 regarding theft.  According to the report, someone had taken a cattle squeeze chute and a tank without the complainant’s consent.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for an obstructed license plate.  According to the report, the stop led to the arrest of 57-year-old Gerald Dan Cupp of Brownwood for two outstanding Brown County warrants related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.  During a search of Cupp’s person, a small wooden box was located in a shirt pocket, which contained a small amount of marijuana, the report states.  A probable cause search of Cupp’s vehicle found more marijuana in a paper bag under the front seat.  Cupp was also charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of theft of property from a residence on County Road 232.  According to the report, the complainant reported several tools, a garden cart and a ladder had been stolen, total value estimated at $820.  Although the complainant had an idea of who possibly stole the items, she did not name any suspect, the report states.  The incident is under further investigation.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a citizen’s dispute in the area of Chaparral Drive regarding a citizens’ dispute.  According to the report, 45-year-old Shaunna Paige Harmes of Brownwood had an argument with another occupant of the residence and had allegedly assaulted him by slapping him in the face and throwing a dart at him, which stuck in his side and had to be pulled out.  Harmes was placed under arrest for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Colt Justin Greenrock of Early for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, and minor in possession of alcohol.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Scott Tiberias Johnson of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Jose Ochoa Pesina of Comanche for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Nicholas Shade Salinas of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Sunday, December 21

*7:15 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on River Run Drive regarding a male subject who was peeking in a private residence.  A report was filed for harassment, the report states.

*9:58 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Riverside Park Drive regarding a hit and run accident at Riverside Park.  This call resulted in a report of criminal mischief over $1500.

*11:14 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of W. Baker Street regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of suspects 44-year-old Shana Diann Sliger and 27-year-old Jamie Danielle Fulton of Brownwood for theft greater than $50 less than $500.

*12:24 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Roselawn and Southside Drive for speeding.  According to the report, this stop led to the driver being issued a citation for open alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle.

*5:01 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of River Run Drive in Brownwood regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the complainant wished to have a criminal trespass warning issued for a male subject.

*8:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the EZ Mart located on Hwy 279 near Lake Brownwood regarding employee theft.  According to the report, an employee reported that another employee had entered the store at approximately 6:30 p.m. and left the store without paying for an 18-pack of beer.  A criminal trespass warning was issued to the suspect clerk at the request of management, the report states.

*9:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue E regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, a vehicle was located which had been hit in the 1500 block of Avenue E.

*11:44 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop in on W. Hwy 67 in Bangs regarding speeding, failure to signal lane change and for a defective license plate.  According to the report, the driver of the vehicle identified as 35-year-old Gerald Ray Pflueger, III, was found to be in possession of a piece of straw which had been modified consistent with use of illegal narcotics along with residue on the center console which field tested positive for methamphetamine.  A glass pipe and a small vial which contained 0.1 grams of a crystalline substance also field tested positive for methamphetamine, the report states.  Pflueger, III was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant who stated that a known subject had thrown rocks at her vehicle; breaking the right turn signal lens and cracking both the left turn signal lens and windshield.  The complainant estimated the damage at $500, according to the report.

*Early Police arrested 66-year-old William Mareth of Belen, New Mexico for driving while license invalid enhanced.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Cynthia Dolores Marshall of Blanket for injury to a child and assault family violence.
