Wednesday, November 19

*Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft.  According to the report, loss prevention associates reported an individual switching price tags on items to pay a lesser price.  Criminal charges are being pursued, the report states.

Thursday, November 20

*5:34 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to an accident in the 2100 block of Belmeade.  This call led to the arrest of one driver for driving while license invalid.

Monday, November 24

*8:27 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 14th Street regarding the burglary of a motor vehicle.

*11:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue A regarding the theft of a pellet gun from the back yard of the complainant’s home.

Tuesday, November 25

*7:20 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Vine Street regarding the theft of a child’s bicycle from the backyard of the residence sometime between 6:00 p.m. on November 23rd and 2:30 p.m. on November 24th.

*9:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Slayden Street, Brownwood High School, regarding a student who was believed to be in possession of marijuana at the campus.  An investigation determined that a juvenile was in possession of less than 2 ounces marijuana.  The juvenile was taken into custody, processed at the Brownwood Police Department and then released to the juvenile probation officer.  The student was placed in the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) for forty five days as school discipline.

*2:16 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Brady Avenue regarding a hit and run accident where a vehicle struck a pole.  According to the report, the vehicle was later found when the driver attempted to make a false report stating that she was side swiped by a vehicle that drove away.

*2:39 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault that occurred over the weekend.  No arrests were made at the time of the report, according to the officer’s report.

*3:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Belle Plain regarding the burglary of a building.

*8:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Beaver Street regarding a male subject who was causing problems and refusing to leave the residence, according to the report.  This call led to the arrest of 19-year-old Ethan Vance Willis of Brownwood for the offense of public intoxication.

*11:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Avenue K regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, both parties were separated when officers arrived.  No visible injuries were observed during the investigation, the report states. Officers were advised by one half of the disturbance that they wished to pursue charges for assault.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Henry Gary Allison, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/assault family violence.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy noticed a vehicle parked in front of a closed business in Zephyr and saw a person exiting the building.  According to the report, the deputy asked the subject what he was doing and he stated that he was dropping off a deposit for his father.  During an investigation the subject, identified as 19-year-old Dakota Shane Rogers of Zephyr, admitted that he was in possession of marijuana inside the vehicle, the report states.  The deputy located a baggy in a cubby hole in the dash where Rogers indicated which contained 1 gram of marijuana without packaging, the report states.  Rogers was read his rights and arrested for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.  The deputy also located an AR-15 in the back seat of the vehicle which was loaded, according to the deputy’s report.  The location of the stop was within 1000 feet of the Zephyr School campus, which is a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Xan Clarke Duncan of Early on a warrant related to obstruction.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 34-year-old Victoria Martinez Slayton of Coleman on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and driving while license invalid.

Wednesday, November 26

*4:47 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2000 block of Belmeade regarding a vehicle burglary.

*33-year-old Dustin Edward Gamblin of Early was arrested for evading arrest or detention.
