Texas Department of Public Safety released information regarding a fatal motor vehicle accident which occurred about 2.5 miles East of Comanche and involved a Brownwood High School teacher.
According to the report, 30-year-old Amber Corley was traveling eastbound on US-67 in a 2015 Ford passenger which veered into the oncoming traffic crashing into a 2013 Mack truck tractor pulling a semi-trailer. Ms. Corley was reported deceased at the scene of the accident, the report states. The 52-year-old male from Cleburne driving the 2013 Mack truck was reported to be uninjured.
A third vehicle, a 2001 Toyota passenger vehicle, sustained damage from debris. Injuries of the 33-year-old female driver Carla Lee Willis of Stephenville were not available at the time of the report.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Funeral arrangements for Ms. Corley are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood.
