Health Department Offers Alternate Route and Parking Due to East Lee Street Closure

The City of Brownwood is currently working on extensive repairs to East Lee Street between Carnegie Boulevard and South Washington Street, and the street is closed to public traffic.

While these repairs are being completed, the Brownwood/ Brown County Health Department would like to inform the public that they can gain access to the Health Department by turning onto Greenleaf Street from East Baker Street by the coliseum. The public can park at the side of the Health Department on Greenleaf Street, or they can park in the parking lot at the back of the Health Department building and walk around to the front.
