The Early Police Department will have extra patrol units on the street during the Thanksgiving holiday. The overtime for extra officers will be paid for through a TxDot STEP grant that aims to decrease crashes and save lives. Officers will be targeting intoxicated drivers, speeding, reckless drivers and other violations.
