Brownwood News – The Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Brownwood District is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Dunlap to business services coordinator for the district.  In this position, she will oversee the district budget and inventory.

 

Dunlap has been employed with TxDOT for 14 years.  Prior to working at TxDOT, Dunlap worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s T.R. Havins Unit in Brownwood for over 3 years.  She began working at the Brownwood District of TxDOT in 2005, in accounting, human resources and safety.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Howard Payne University in 2010 and began working in the district’s business office that same year. 

Dunlap and her husband Blyth have been married for 23 years and have two daughters, Tristyn and Presley.  Her hobbies include fishing, photography, and crafts of all kinds; however, she enjoys spending time with family most of all.

Dunlap officially began the role of business services coordinator effective March 1, 2019.

TxDOT’s Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
