Dawn Holland of Santa Anna, Texas passed from this life on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:03pm at Coleman County Medical Center at the age of 59 years.
Private family visitation and services will celebrate her life with Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna in charge of arrangements.
She was born Dawn Elizabeth Stewart on November 29, 1960 in Groton, Connecticut to Lowell and Jean Elaine Phillps Stewart. Dawn was raised in Groton where she graduated from High School then continued her education in college receiving her bachelor degree in education. In 1976 her family moved to Texas and settled in Brown County. On June 18, 1999 Dawn married Albert Holland in Brownwood, Texas and they have celebrated 20 years of marriage. In 2012 she moved to Santa Anna and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a dedicated volunteer at the Santa Anna Clothes Closet. She loved baking, woodworking, all animals, especially her cows whom she lovingly named. Dawn worked as a counselor with the Havens Unit and as a teacher’s aide with Early ISD.
