EarlyCubScoutsPack4

The Early Cub Scouts Pack 4 took a tour of the Brownwood Regional Airport on Tuesday January 4th.

Lineman Kyle Almand gave them a tour through the big Hanger C which was actually constructed in 1939 and was a part of Camp Bowie, Texas.  It now it houses a Cessna 310, Cessna 208 (Fedex Caravan), a Pilatus, a Carbon Cub and several other smaller planes.

Kyle gave them a little bit of history about the planes they were looking at and what it would cost to purchase one today along with the history of the hanger they were in being part of the old Camp Bowie from years ago.  The hangar has had some work done on the outside yet the doors are still the original from years ago.
