Brownwood News – Cross Classical Academy robotics teams recently place 1stand 2ndin the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Robotics Arena Competition. Earning first place was team Abolisher. The team members included Tyler Mitchell, Jadon Rokey and Liz Minzenmayer. Second Place team, DFMT consisted of, Harrison Davis and Matthew Till.

Cross Classical Robotics Coach Keith Taylor said, “It was great to watch the excitement and joy they had when their robot performed as it was supposed to. They all worked hard to meet this challenge. I am so proud of everyone of them.”

“These students have worked hard this year on a difficult robotics challenge. We share the excitement with them of placing at this competition.  We are also grateful for the leadership of Keith Taylor who encourages these students in their thinking and their leadership.” said Kristy Mitchell, Administrator Cross Classical Academy.

Team members began working on their robot and program in September.  Their goal was to assemble a robot and program it to accomplish an assigned task.
