The 7th annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival is underway and the public is invited to attend this fun-filled family event which continues today, Saturday, December 5th from 4-8 PM at the Depot Complex and the Lehnis Railroad Museum.
The Christmas Under the Stars Festival features holiday games, crafts, food and attractions for kids of all ages. Key attractions will include Mr. and Mrs. Claus, giant slide, Big Wheel Races, carriage rides and Treats for Santa Contest. HPU’s drama department will also offer a holiday play titled “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”The festival weekend kicked off Thursday with the annual Spirit of Christmas lighted parade in downtown Brownwood which filled the streets with spectators. The parade featured marching bands, dancing drill teams, lighted floats with great Christmas music, local dignitaries from all across Brown County and even Santa and Mrs. Claus.
