Friday, January 26, 2018

  • 7:30 am – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Highland in reference to a hit and run. I met with the reporting party and took photographs of the area for the report. A report was made.
  • 9:40 am – Brownwood Police responded to the 1200 block of Austin Ave in regards to a forgery/counterfeiting call. A case number was generated and the case is still active.
  • 11:29 am – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence in the 2500 block of Main Blvd. A report was received of criminal mischief. Information was gathered for a report and forwarded to BWPD C.I.D. for further review.
  • 9:29 pm – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Southside Dr. in reference to a burglary of a habitation. I arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been generated.
  • 10:33 pm – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to burglary of a motor vehicle. During this call, the complainant reported that a handgun and wallet were stolen out of his vehicle . An active report was generated regarding the incident.

Saturday, January 27, 2018

  • 4:15 pm- Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street in regards to a theft call. A case number was generated for a report and the case is still active.

Sunday, January 28, 2018

  • 7:33 am – Brownwood Police Department responded to the 2600 BLK of Hillsboro in Brownwood, Texas, in reference to a domestic disturbance. This report was generated.
  • 1:45 am – Brownwood Police Department responded to 504 W. Commerce St in Brownwood, Texas , in reference to narcotics activity. Marcus Latson was arrested for various charges and this report was generated.
  • 6:00 pm – Brownwood Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Main Blvd. in reference to Criminal Mischief. A report was generated for this incident.

Monday, January 29, 2018

  • 12:52 am – Brownwood Police Conducted a traffic stop on a silver passenger car for failing to indicate change of lanes. 2 Suspects were arrested for Possession of Marijuana >=2OZ <4OZ.
  • 8:57 pm – Brownwood Police were dispatched to 2000 block Slayden St in reference to a domestic violence. I arrived at the scene and made contact with the complainant. An arrest was made and a report has been generated.
