BMS Theatre presents their entry into the 2016 UIL One Act Play Competition, “Still Life with Iris” by Steven Dietz.

SYNOPSIS: Set in the land of Nocturno, “Still Life with Iris” chronicles a young girl’s quest to regain her memory and with it her home. With the help of the incredible people she meets along the way, Iris’ crusade recovers not just her past but reveals a wonderful secret which changes her future as well. She succeeds in finding herself: the power of faith and the courage of persistence. These traits will lead her home.

“Still Life with Iris” will be performed for the public on Saturday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the BHS Dorothy McIntosh Fine Arts Center Auditorium.  Tickets will be sold for $5 at the door.

BHS Theatre proudly presents “THE POLAR EXPRESS” based on the children’s classic by Chris Van Allsburg.

SYNOPSIS: One Christmas Eve many years ago a boy, Joe, lies in bed, listening hard for the bells of Santa’s sleigh, which he has been told by a friend do not exist. Later that night he hears not the bells he expects but a very different sound indeed. Joe embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express. During his adventure, he learns about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

Performances of “THE POLAR EXPRESS” will be December 8, 9, 10 at 7:00 p.m.
