Brownwood News – In session Tuesday morning, November 26, the Brownwood City Council voted unanimously to approve an amended contract with Lifeguard Ambulance Service.

With the 4-0 vote, the City Council ratified action taken by Brown County Commissioners earlier this month to amend the contract regarding the number of MICU units operated by Lifeguard.

The EMS Advisory Committee voted to recommend an amendment to the contract on November 4th to allow for three full-time fully staffed MICU units and a fourth ambulance to be MICU 80% of the time and to be Basic Life Support up to 15% of the time.
