Brownwood News – Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am Monday, July 1, in Commissioner’s Courtroom on the first floor of the Brown County Courthouse.  Their posted agenda is as follows:

  1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
  2. Prayer
  3. Citizen Comments

(Any resident of Brown County may speak before the court on any agenda item. Any topic to be addressed that is not on the agenda may be heard with the approval of a majority of the Court present. No presentation shall last longer than five minutes. All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on October 6, 2014. The court members may not respond to any speaker making a citizen comment.   5. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
  6. Vance Hill, Brown County Sheriff- Presentation of the jail report (span cj);
  7. Vance Hill, Brown County Sheriff- Consideration and possible approval of authorization to enter an agreement with IWA Technical Services Inc and Ira Wiesenfeld & Associates Consulting Engineers concerning the county-wide communication system (span cj);
  8. Adjournment
