Sunday, September 30

*9:18pm – BFD responded to a fire call in the 1400 block of Vine Street.  The Incident was determined to be a power line which was down. Oncor was notified.  Firefighters remained on scene until Oncor arrived and removed this hazardous situation.

Monday, October 1

*10:48am – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1400 block of Vine Street where a power line was found to be down.  Oncor was notified and Firefighters remained on scene until Oncor arrived.

*6:27am – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Austin Avenue and Booker Street. The accident involved a vehicle which struck a telephone pole.  Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

Tuesday, October 2

*10:55am – BFD was called to an agency assist in the 300 block of E. Commerce where they assisted the fire marshal with a ladder to access the roof top.

*5:14pm – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 300 block of E. Commerce.  The incident was determined to be an outside rubbish fire.

Friday, October 5

*12:35pm- BFD was called to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 1200 block of E. FM 586. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

*7:10pm – BFD was called to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street where a child was locked in a running vehicle.  Firefighters unlocked the vehicle and returned the child to his father without incident.
