Mi Familia Mexican Restaurant in Early is generously donating proceeds from sales Friday through Sunday to benefit the family of 18-year-old Brenya Simental with expenses while she is in the hospital being treated for injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Thursday.
Family friend Shannon Sutherland stated that Brenya was initially transported to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene but needed more specialized care for head trauma received in the accident and was later transferred by air to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. She explained that the family will be staying with Brenya during her extensive treatment and are expecting to be there for several weeks.
The public is invited to help support this family as they go through this difficult time helping Brenya get the treatment she needs.
Simental was injured along with her friend Miranda Elizondo in a one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday on US Hwy 183N. Simental is pictured above left.
