The family and friends of Brandon Lee Abernathy are asking for support as they make funeral arrangements for their family member.
On Monday, September 1, 2014, 18-year-old Brandon Abernathy was found unresponsive at a home of a friend. He had lived in Brownwood all of his life, attended Brownwood High School and had recently graduated. He is the son of Irene Gomez of Bangs and Lee Abernathy of Brownwood.
Family members state that Brandon loved music, was a very outgoing, friendly and kind hearted person whose life was “cut short.” They also stated that he had many goals in life and enjoyed helping others, especially his family.
Funeral expenses of $5600 are more than the family is able to secure and they are asking the public for support and prayers.
