District Attorney, Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

  • Jeri Lynn Smith pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to Thirty-five (35) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Smith pled guilty to the felony offense of Bail Jumping and Failure to Appear and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Larissa Saucedo pled no contest to the felony offense of Injury to a Child and was sentenced to Eighteen (18) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Judy Lynn Havens pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Bryan Jay Rodriguez pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Albert Elmer Holland pled no contest to the felony offense of Sexual Assault of a Child and was sentenced to Twelve (12) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Walter Carl Kitchens pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Monty Lee Lewis pled guilty to the felony offenses of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.
  • Edward Patterson, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, was adjudicated and sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Micheal James Slaughter pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Eight (8) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Roger Lynn Camp pled guilty to the felony offense of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and was sentenced to Eight (8) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Kendall Frederick Theis pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Vianey Delgado Najera pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

  • David Wayne West, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to Four (4) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Billy Loys Perrie, on probation for the felony of Forgery, was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Perrie, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.  Also Perrie pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

  • Michelle Nadine Manuel pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • James David Jones pled guilty to the felony offense of Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Kevin Lewis Kessinger pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Kessinger pled guilty to the state jail felony offenses of Burglary of a Building and Criminal Mischief and was sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division in each case.
