A 7-year-old boy who was pulled from the swimming pool at the Brownwood Country Club Thursday afternoon has passed away according to friends and church members.
St. John’s Episcopal Church issued a statement on their Facebook page announcing that their minister’s son, Andrew Mobley, had passed away and are asking for the community to unite in prayer for the family as well as the church body.
“Little Andrew did not return to us. He is with God. Our grief is heavy and our prayers needful. Fellow Christians please join your heart to us as we pray for our Lord Jesus Christ to give mercy to all who are hurting from Andrew’s final trial. Especially bring the peace passing our understanding to Fr Mobley, Jennifer, Michelle, Abby and Aaron as they come together to speak of their loss. AMEN,” the statement said.Andrew was pulled from the pool by a lifeguard at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center and was flown by air ambulance to Cook’s Children’s Hospital where he passed away over the weekend.
