Brownwood News – An accident involving a truck pulling two trailers was reported shortly after 5 o’clock this morning on Highway 183, north of May.
Initial police radio reports were that the truck had double trailers behind it and the second trailer in the hitch had flipped over. The driver was said to be out of the truck setting up cones around the accident scene. The DPS and a wrecker from Welch Bros Towing were sent to the scene. Traffic may be down to one lane in the area.
A second vehicle accident was reported at 6:02 this morning on South Highway 183 and FM 2126 just south of Early.
It was reported as a pickup striking a guard rail with significant damage to the pickup and guardrail.
Unknown injuries.
