On Wednesday, September 23rd, Northwest Elementary received two flags, donated by Woodmen of the World, one of the largest distributors of flags to non-profit and community organizations.
Tim Owen delivered and presented the flags to the school on behalf of the organization.
“This is one of many ways their organization celebrates patriotism,” said school counselor, Jeanette Lancaster. “We are very grateful to them for their generosity.”
