Woodland Heights Elementary third graders have been honing their multiplication skills lately, in preparation for the district-wide multiplication bee. On Friday, May 13th, the top twelve 3rd grade students from Woodland had their own preliminary multiplication bee.
The competition was stiff, but in the end, three students claimed victory. First place went to Adonis McCarty, second place to Aubrie Harris, and third place went to Cooper Swanzy.
These top twelve students will represent Woodland Heights in the district competition on Monday, May 16th. The multiplication bee will be held at 12:45 in the Coggin Elementary Auditorium, located at 1005 Avenue B, in Brownwood .
