Woodland Heights Elementary held a special ceremony May 20th to thank those that helped give the school a new running track. Several individuals were honored at the event and given a Track Helping Hand Award.
Students also attended the occasion and were excited to take a quick lap on the new track before heading back to their classrooms. The newly added track will be utilized by the school’s Physical Education programs.An invitation from the school to the honorees thanked them for their generosity and helping hands and included the message, “We could not have provided such a wonderful addition to our school and Physical Education program without your help!”
Those awarded included: Dan Morelock, Jon Ochoa, Matthew Ochoa, James Butts, Eric Butts, Gilford Leon Keas, Judy Ann Brownlee, Carlos & Heather Baker, Logan Baker, Mason Baker, Jason Glass, Hunter Glass, Diane Rains, Amy Hall, Zachery Hall, Stefenia Phipps, Cameron Phipps, Morgan Phipps, Kimber Bennett, DeLaney Bennett, Jesse Bennett, Tanner Roberts, Sydney Stewart, Roberson Rent-All, Bob Thornhill Trucking, and Vulcan Materials.
