The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2010 Women’s Soccer All-Conference teams and Howard Payne University landed seven players on the list after a vote of the league’s 14 head coaches.
First Team

- •Leslie Jones – She was second in the ASC in goals scored with 17. Named ASC Offensive Player of the Week twice and recorded two hat tricks this season. She was named to the ASC All-Tournament Team.
Second Team
- Kassey Nix– She led an HPU defense that recorded nine shutouts on the year. She was also named ASC Defensive Player of the Week.
Third Team
- Stephanie Boggs – She was also an anchor to an HPU defense posting nine shutouts.
- Jordyn Stephens – Playing in all 19 matches for the Lady Jackets, she was third on the team in assists with four.
- Lauren Hankins-Hatcher– She scored two goals and had a team high eight assists on the year. She was among the ASC leaders in assists.
- Adrienne Walker – Played in 16 games for HPU, she had 71 saves and accounted for five of HPU’s nine shutouts. She was named to the ASC All-Tournament Team.
Honorable Mention
- Shannon Costello – She had one goal and was among the leaders in the ASC in assists with six.
Howard Payne finished the season with an 11-5-3 overall record. The Lady Jackets ended their season with the program’s first playoff appearance, first tournament win and the most wins in school history.
