The Woman’s Club of Brownwood will have its annual fund-raiser “Togs, Treats and Treasures” from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2304 Highway 377 South, in the vacant building next door to Rosa’s Restaurant.
All money raised goes toward the club’s charitable gifts distributed in May. This year, in addition to fabulous, gently used rummage sale items, there will be a special “treasure” area with all handmade arts and crafts and homemade “dinner” treats, including King Ranch Casserole, chili and soup will be for sale.
All of the money raised by the Woman’s Club is distributed to local charitable organizations in Brown County, and last May, more than $5,000 was divided and distributed to 14 service organizations.
