The Pecan Bayou Soil and Water Conservation District is again selling a limited variety of windbreak trees to the public. Species offered are Afghanistan Pine, Austrian Pine, Desert Willow, Fourwing Saltbush, Lacebark Elm, Italian Stone Pine, Pinyon Pine and Oriental Arborvitae. Trees are 12 inch seedlings incased in a tube-pack. There is no minimum order on Afghanistan Pines, but the other species have a minimum order of 30.  All container grown trees are $3.00 each.

Bareroot seedlings (16 species) are available in minimum orders of 25 for $2.00 each.

Payment is due with the order. Refunds will be made if delivery is not completed for any reason. Delivery is scheduled for the middle of February. Trees are for home sites windbreaks, field windbreaks, traffic screens and for wildlife plantings. The trees are produced by the Texas Forest Service.
