The National Weather service in San Angelo has issued a wind advisory which is in effect until 8 pm this evening.
Strong north winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected behind a cold front today across west central Texas. The winds will subside around sunset.
A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph and/or wind gusts of 45 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
