William “Bill” Posey, 84 of McAllen, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Houston, Texas.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Friday, August 2, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Reverend Bun Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rochelle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Friday, prior to the service, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.
Bill was born in Santa Barbara, California on March 12, 1935. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in McAllen, was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield for 22 years before retiring to be a teacher in Donna ISD. He served in the U.S. Army.

Son – Kyle Posey of Harlingen, Texas
Daughters – Christi Ward and husband Doug of Houston; Vicki Young and husband Donald of Shawnee, Kansas; Jill Powers of Bryan, Texas; Dee Ann Mann and husband Brent of Houston.
Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
