Wesley Thomas Richardson, 68, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, March 12, 2020 in Round Rock, Texas.

Wesley was born February 9, 1952 in Brownwood, Texas to Raymond and Frances (Fulton) Richardson.  He graduated in 1970 from Brownwood High School.  Following graduation, he joined the Navy and served his country in the Vietnam War.  Upon his return, he attended Angelo State University, graduating in 1977.  On August 31, 1979, he married Marcy (Murphy) Richardson and he adopted his two sons, Clint and Shane Richardson in January of 1985.  Their daughter Stephanie (Richardson) Billingsley was born April 12, 1988.  He was an accountant for various state agencies and retired from the State of Texas in 2013.

Wesley was an avid fisherman, spending countless hours on Texas lakes.  He loved to hunt, travel, and spend time with family.  He was one that you could always count on.

He is survived by his wife, Marcy of Austin, Texas; three children Clint and wife Amy of Nacogdoches, Shane and wife Misty of Leander and Stephanie and husband Chris of Round Rock; grandchildren Brandon, Jeffrey, London, Grant and soon to be Weston; brothers Jimmy Cotten, Dennis and Joe Bob Richardson and many nieces and nephews; two sisters-in law Nelda Barnes and Liz Hardy and brother-in-law Fred Lemmons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Ida Murphy, brother Johnny and Brian Richardson; sisters Mona Williams, Lisa Richardson, Sherri Mobley and Judy Long; sister-in-law Wilma Lemmons and brothers-in-law Harvey Barnes and Larry Hardy.

Funeral services for Wesley will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lost Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
