Fuel prices continued their decline from last week giving drivers even more relief at the pump.
Regular unleaded in Brownwood & Early ranged from $2.31-2.49 per gallon on Sunday. This is about a 0.10 cent drop per gallon from this time last week at many stations. Only one station in Brownwood was setting at $2.31 per gallon and a couple at $2.33. The majority of stations are sitting right around the $2.39 mark as of Sunday afternoon.
Oil prices also dropped about $3 since last week causing wholesale gasoline prices to decline as well.
Gasbuddy.com reports that the average price for regular unleaded in the state of Texas as of Sunday is $2.39 per gallon which is about a nickle cheaper than last week. For those who remember, that is about a $1.00 per gallon decline from this time last year.
Ino.com reports that oil may remain steady to slightly lower going into next week, so look for prices at the pump to level off some in the coming week.
