Lake Brownwood

Water clear; 78–82 degrees; 12.59′ low. Black bass are good on watermelon/chartreuse tailed soft plastic worms, topwater frogs, torpedoes, and Pop–R’s on main lake flats near grass. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on Li’l Fishies off lighted docks at night. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles in 10–20 feet, and under lighted docks at night. Channel catfish are good on cut bait and shrimp over baited holes. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with perch and worms.

Lake Coleman

Water clear; 78–82 degrees; 18.61′ low. Black bass are good on watermelon red spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and soft plastics. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white/red tube jigs. Channel catfish are good on shrimp and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

O.H. Ivie Reservoir

Water stained; 72–79 degrees; 41.46′ low. Black bass are fair to good on spinnerbaits, Texas rigs, jigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs shallow.

Lake Proctor

Water murky; 80–84 degrees; 12.27′ low. Black bass are fair on perch colored Rat–L–Traps early. Striped bass are good on silver striper jigs and shad. White bass are good on minnows. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on goldfish and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.
