Many friends came to help out the Wes Fletcher family with tearing off and putting on a new roof along with getting rid of a storage building that needed torn down at their home on 1115 Oakland. Working fast and furious somewhat like a swarm of bees, these guys put their heart into helping out a friend.
Although some donations have been given, much more is needed to help finish the family’s home remodel along with the completion of an investment home that Fletcher had started before his death. Fletcher passed away as a result of injuries he received in a car accident last month. The group wanted to get the word out that most of the items are still needed. Big ticket items are the kitchen cabinets and windows for the house on Oakland. The flex duct for the flip on 11th Street is a more needed item which will help complete the remodel so that the family can get it on the market and sold. Gift cards to Home Depot are helpful for all the little things that have to be purchased throughout the projects.
“Friends are going off the way they had talked with Wes about how he wanted to remodel the homes,” stated Bobby Waller, a friend of the family.
Many thanks go out to the friends who were present, giving up their weekend to be good Samaritans: Bobby Waller, Chad Locker, Josh Stegemoller, Donnie Stegemoller, Kyle Ellis, Kirby Cabler Construction (who brought equipment), Danny Burchett, Brandon Brown, Paul Contreras, Andrew Ruffin, Shaun Baldwin, Adam Trump, Barry Modawell and Johnny Escobar.
Thanks to Troy Bachman with Grimsley Electric who helped get the necessary electrical work done along with installing all the electrical fixtures in both homes and to Kevin Chambers for the plumbing work he is doing in the homes. Thanks also to Home Depot for donating a $250 gift card.

These tickets are still being sold until the drawing on November 1st, when Mia (Fletcher’s daughter) will be drawing the winning ticket at Stegemoller Realtors office on S Hwy 377.
