A strong cold front moved through the Brownwood area bringing a nice rain showers on Wednesday. Now that the rain has moved away, colder temperatures and gusty winds have set in.
The National Weather Service is predicting a low in Brownwood of 43 degrees overnight with winds gusting up to 15 mph bringing the chill factor much colder than that.
Friday looks like a beautiful day with calmer winds and sunny skies with a high expected to be about 73 degrees. It should be a nice, but a chilly Friday night can be expected for high school football games.
Rain reports around Brownwood vary anywhere from a half inch up to an inch of rain on Wednesday. No more rain is in the forecast for the next few days.
