A visitation for Wayne Christian Baehr of Brownwood will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M. May 17, 2012, at Heartland Funeral Home of Early. Mr. Baehr passed away Monday in Abilene.
He was born September 18,1933 in Bakersfield, California to Ransom and Zelma Dooley Baehr. On May 2, 1958 Wayne married Barbara Baker in Bakersfield, California. He was a Methodist, having lived in Brown County for the past forty three years. His hobbies were guns, hunting, and fishing. He was retired from 3M Company of Brownwood. Wayne was a wonderful loving husband, he was patient, kind, and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of fifty four years Barbara of Brownwood, his daughters; Kim and husband Tommy Swingle of Thrifty, Kellie and husband Edward Pennington of Bangs, and Christie and husband Steve Singleton of Thrifty.
He is survived by his grandchildren; Heather Bondallaon, Delese Noble, Brady Beene, Bailey Beene, Ryan Vaughan, Christian Vaughan, and Sarah McDermot. Wayne is also survived by his great grandchildren; Kade Bennett, Braylee Beene, Makai Bondallaon, Sophia Noble, and Brayden Vaughan. He is also survived by five nieces Robin Harlan, Konnie Oliver, Kara Ragland, Jennifer Ragland, and Charlee Baker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Carol Ragland.
