Warschak-BrownJanna Rae Warschak of Lubbock and Taylor Northcutt Brown of Lubbock were united in marriage on June 15, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Antique Rose Emporium in Independence, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Judy Warschak of Brenham.  She is the granddaughter of Bernice Warschak of Frelsburg and the late Delmo Warschak and the late M. B. and Manda Schulze.

The groom is the son of Mark and Sally Brown of Brownwood.  He is the grandson of Buddy Brown of Plainview and the late Lura Brown and Sammie and Mary Lou Stewart of Blanket and Pat and Anne Northcutt of Amarillo.

Charlie Johnson of Fort Worth performed the double ring ceremony.  Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an organza fit and flare gown by Maggie Sottero featuring stunning lace motifs covering the entire gown.  She wore an elbow length veil edged with lace motifs.

She carried a bouquet consisting of peach colored roses, white lisianthus, golden ranunculus, hydrangeas, succulents and lamb’s ear.  A gold brooch that belonged to her maternal grandmother and also worn by the bride’s mother on her wedding day was attached to her bouquet.

Matrons of Honor were Paige Glasco Meyer, high school friend of the bride of Brenham and Sarah Fathauer Crosby, high school friend of the bride of Cypress.  Bridesmaids were Keeley Brown, sister of the groom of Brownwood; Sara Miller, college friend of the bride of Houston; Britney Williams, high school friend of the bride of Schertz and Kelsey Krebs Toomey, high school friend of the bride of Houston.  The attendants were dressed alike in one shoulder mint green knee length gowns.  They carried bouquets consisting of peach colored lisianthus and hypericum berries.

Best man was Taylor Bradshaw, high school friend of the groom of Houston.  Groomsmen were Landon Lavender, college friend of the groom of Arlington; Koy Warschak, brother of the bride of Brenham; Eric Lincecum, college friend of the groom of Lubbock; Tim Chandler, high school friend of the groom of Galveston and Marshall Cook, life long friend of the groom of Nashville, Tennessee.  Honorary groomsman was Dustin Frye, cousin of the groom of Lubbock.

Ringbearer was Wes Daniel Warschak, nephew of the bride of Brenham.

Ushers were Eric Schwertner, Kyle Schwertner and Reed Young.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Antique Rose Emporium.  The bride’s cake was a two tiered red velvet confection with butter cream icing.  The cake was adorned with peach and white flowers.  The dessert display consisted of a wide variety of cookies and mini cupcakes.  The groom’s chocolate cake featured the Texas Tech “Double T” emblem.  The cake was drizzled with chocolate icing and also edged with strawberries dipped into chocolate.

Members of the houseparty and others assisting with the wedding were Melanie Warschak, Judy Barbo, Lauren Barbo, Sarah Gaskamp, Taylor Wightman and Christina Carson.

After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple now resides in Lubbock, Texas.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Brenham High School.  She received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with emphasis in Management from Texas Tech University in 2011.  She is currently employed as a Commercial Broker Consultant with Andeler Corp. in Lubbock.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Brownwood High School.  He received a Bachelor of Science Degree with emphasis in Agriculture and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University in 2012.  He is currently employed as a Salesman with Diversity Irrigation in Brownfield, Texas.
